About Arcarius Nest

A little nest of Australian wildlife

Arcarius Nest celebrates the animals and wildflowers of Australia: koalas and joeys, quokkas, wombats, kookaburras, lorikeets, waratahs, wattle and banksia. Our prints come in three moods, gentle pastels, joyful brights and calm moonlit minimal, so a nursery, kids' room or living room can mix and match.

We make every design with AI image tools in a watercolour-inspired style of our own and review each one before it is listed. Nothing is hand-painted, and we want that to be clear. We draw on the plants and animals themselves and do not imitate Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander art styles or symbols.

Good to know

Frequently asked questions

What do I receive when I buy a print?

A digital download, not a physical item. After you order on Etsy you download high-resolution JPG files and print them yourself. Each Etsy listing says exactly which files and sizes are included.

What sizes can I print?

Our newer prints come with four files, one for each common frame shape: 2:3 (4x6, 8x12, 12x18 in), 3:4 (6x8, 9x12, 12x16 in), 4:5 (8x10, 11x14, 16x20 in) and A-series (A5, A4, A3). The files print sharply at the sizes listed; much larger prints come out softer. Check each listing for its exact files.

Where can I print them?

On a home printer using heavy matte or photo paper, at a local print shop, or through an online photo printing service. Then frame and hang.

How do I download my files?

Etsy emails you a download link as soon as payment goes through, and the files also stay in your Etsy account under Purchases. Downloading in a web browser is usually easiest.

Is the artwork AI-made?

Yes. Our designs are created with AI image tools and reviewed before they are listed. The style is watercolour-inspired; nothing is hand-painted or hand-drawn.

Do you sell matching sets?

Yes. Our Set of 6 Australian Animal Nursery Prints makes an instant gallery wall, and the colour families (bright, soft pastel, moonlit minimal) are designed to sit well together.
